Welcome Mariko Doktor!

Hello Team,

We are happy to announce Mariko Doktor is our newest Client Engagement Specialist and is our new lead Tour Itinerary Curator for Albemarle Limousine. She can be reached at mariko@albemarlelimousine.com. Mariko’s local wine, and winery, expertise will be greatly valued by our wine tour clients as they navigate crafting their itineraries.

Mariko will provide sales and dispatch support and you will be interacting with her in a variety of ways regarding job assignments, itinerary questions, or general dispatch.

Mariko grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA but considers herself a CVille local after thirteen years, while fully affirming how easy it is to fall in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Mariko graduated with her BA in International Politics from Penn State University...We Are...Penn State!! and also spent her first year in Charlottesville taking seminary classes.

She has had the opportunity to work and participate in so many aspects of the Charlottesville community and considers it to be a special opportunity to connect with others. Whether it be over a child's education as a teacher, creating art to bring others joy through the performing arts, or creating a wonderful experience and finding common ground throughout a wine tasting as a tasting room associate, communing with others is one of her passions.

Having just concluded a twelve year career as a high school theology and fine arts teacher as well as coach and choreographer, Mariko has a love of learning. She has been in the Virginia Wine Industry for the past seven and a half working at King Family Vineyards while cultivating a fascination with wine and wine education earning her Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 1 Award in Wine.

Given Mariko's passion for people and knowledge of wine, we are excited to have her on our team and welcome Mariko into her new role!
